Enjoy the holiday with your friends and family. Thank God for the founding fathers that He empowered to make our nation what it is today. We agree with the prayers they spoke and the scriptures they declared from our governmental buildings. They knew we needed God then and we still need Him now. Though we have taken a bit of a detour, we will not lose hope in our great nation. God is working and He has a plan for all of it. He will use it for our good and His glory.
We are not in this moment by chance. There is work to be done and believers needed to do it. As it says in John 8:36 “If the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed”. No one and nothing can take that freedom away from us. It’s our inheritance as children of the King. Let’s help others experience that freedom too. They don’t know they need it until we show them. Lord, embolden us as you emboldened those who formed this great nation. Give us courage to fight for our freedom (both physical and spiritual) and the freedom of those around us.
